History

Past President Maria Sanchez said it best, "A small but determined group of like-minded women got together because they wanted to make a difference in our community, in our state, in our nation and in the Republican Party."

In January 2002, ten visionary women banded together and created Westlake Village Republican Women, Federated (WVRWF). Susan Ash was our founding President. She was subseqently followed by Maria Sanchez, Stephany Walsh, Ellen Burson, and Debra Lorier. Our current President, Gail Wilburn. Read about her here.
