Join us for what promises to be a very interesting conversation with local resident Lisa Vartanian who has written a book about her experience emigrating from a communist regime to the United States and what it means to her to be a legal immigrant. Born in Armenia when it was part of the Soviet Union, Lisa and her family were allowed entry into the United States in 1981. Her story is fascinating as she contrasts life before and after her immigration and shares her love of the United States and her concerns for our future.
