I am honored to have been elected President of WVRWF for another year. And thank you to all of the new and returning officers who have stepped up to the plate to serve our unit and the Republican cause. We will need to work together as a team to accomplish many objectives this year--not the least of which is to elect another Republican president! We are at a critical junction for the Republican Party.
The new year has arrived with a bang--a presidential primary. While some of us are sad that "our" candidates are now out of the race, others are fired up...but all of us need to be ready to fight for our Republican nominee and there are many ways to help.
One way is to work a shift at our local Ventura County Republican Party headquarters on Thousand Oaks Blvd., across from The Lakes shopping center. Why not grab a buddy and call Trudy Heinzer, our Voter Registration and Campaigns Chair, at (805)492-0303, to schedule a shift. During your 3-hour shift, you can discuss politics with other like-minded people, register NEW Republicans and answer questions for people looking to get involved. Maybe even recruit a new WVRWF member!
